How to Play

Combilings takes about thirty seconds to learn. Drag your finger across combilings of the same colour to connect them, and let go to make them pop.
The basics
Combilings of the same colour connect when they touch, including diagonally. Trace a path through at least two of them and release. The longer the path, the more points, and the better the reward that appears at the end of it.
Boosts
- 4 in a row creates a Color Bomb in that colour. Connect it later to another combiling of the same colour and every combiling of that colour on the board explodes at once.
- 5 in a row creates a White Bomb, a wildcard that clears everything around it regardless of colour.
- 6 or more creates the Atomic, which wipes the entire board and scores all of it.
The combo bar
Every move fills the combo bar. Keep making matches before it empties and your multiplier climbs. From ×3 upwards a Super Combo triggers: a match of three or more spreads automatically to another group of the same colour elsewhere on the board.
The two modes
- Mission Mode asks you to collect a set number of combilings of one colour before your moves run out. Each level asks for more and gives you slightly fewer moves.
- Survival Mode gives you thirty seconds. Every good combo adds time. There is no move limit, only the clock.
Coins
Coins buy you another attempt when you run out of moves. You start with none and earn them by completing levels, claiming the daily bonus, installing the game and inviting friends. The first retry is cheaper than the ones after it.
Tips
- Hunt the mission colour instead of clearing whatever is easiest. A long path in the wrong colour scores points but does not advance the mission.
- Save the Color Bomb. Detonating it when the board is full of its colour clears far more than doing it immediately.
- In Survival, chains matter more than long single paths, because each combo adds time.
- The daily bonus grows for several consecutive days, so coming back matters more than playing longer.
