These are the questions that have come up most often. If yours is not here, there is a suggestion button at the bottom of the game menu.
No, and this is worth understanding. Combilings has no account and no server: your coins, records and daily streak live in your browser's local storage on that one device. Clearing your browser data, switching device, or playing in a private window means starting from zero. There is no backup because there is nowhere for a backup to live.
Same reason. Each browser on each device keeps its own copy. There is no login to tie them together, which is also why there is nothing you have to sign up for.
Two Apple restrictions. Installing to the home screen is always manual on iOS, through the Share menu, because Safari has no automatic install prompt. And web notifications on iOS only work after the game is installed to the home screen — in ordinary Safari the notification system is not available to websites at all.
The first time you open the game each day you receive coins automatically. Consecutive days pay more: 25, then 35, 50, 75 and 100. Miss a day and it resets to 25. The day changes at your local midnight, not at some server's.
Once a day at 18:55 in your own time zone. You can turn them off at any time in your browser's notification settings for the site.
It creates a recurring event in your phone's calendar. It exists because notifications are unreliable on some platforms — particularly iPhone — and a calendar alarm works everywhere, including devices that never receive web notifications.
If you install the game to your home screen, yes. The whole game is a single file with no external assets, so once it is installed it runs without a connection. Ads and notifications need a connection, the game itself does not.
No. If fewer than three combilings of the mission colour remain on the board, refills are nudged toward that colour until there are at least three again. It is a floor, not a flood — you will never see the board crowded with the mission colour, because that would let you finish a level in one wave.
Because the mode used to be infinite. The combo multiplier had no ceiling and each combo added more time than a move consumed, so runs never ended and scores reached the hundreds of millions. Scores from before that change cannot be matched and are best cleared.
Yes. There is no chat, no user-generated content and no way to contact other players. There is no account, so no child can create a profile. The only external elements are advertising and, if enabled, notifications.
It is free and there is nothing to buy. Coins are earned inside the game and have no monetary value; they cannot be purchased, transferred or exchanged.
There is a suggestion button at the bottom of the game menu. It opens an email with your device details already filled in, which saves a round of questions and makes the problem far easier to reproduce.
